Changes to bag size and delivery costs
Dear Customers,
I wanted to let you know about a few changes coming to our Endeavour range and delivery costs over the next few weeks.
The current 15kg bags of Endeavour will gradually be changing to 13.5kg bags. The new bags are an upgrade from our current brown paper bags, as they will be fully recyclable and resealable, helping to keep the food fresher for longer. The good news is that the price will also be reduced to reflect the smaller bag size.
The new 13.5kg bags also mean that two bags can now fit into a single box for overnight deliveries without exceeding the maximum weight allowed by our couriers. This creates a saving for us, and I’m pleased to say that we’ll be passing this saving on to customers by increasing the discount when purchasing two or more large bags.
I’ll also be extending these increased discounts to customers purchasing two or more 12kg bags from our Signature and Provenance ranges, as well as increasing the discount available to customers purchasing four or more 2kg bags from these ranges.
Unfortunately, with fuel prices remaining consistently high this year, as of 1st September I will also be slightly increasing the delivery charge for orders under £100 from £2.99 to £3.99. However, the threshold for free delivery will remain at £100, so orders over this amount will continue to qualify for free delivery as before.
Where space and budget allow, I would encourage customers to make the most of the bulk-buying discounts and free delivery, as this can help keep the overall cost of their food down.
I appreciate these changes may be frustrating for many customers, particularly those with large dogs or multiple dogs that get through a lot of food. However, I’m hoping that the reduction in price, together with the improved bulk-buying discounts, will make the change a little easier to take. At least this isn’t shrinkflation like crisps and chocolate bars, where the product gets smaller but somehow costs the same!
I’ll continue to do everything I can to keep our prices as competitive as possible while maintaining the quality of our food and the personal service you’ve come to expect from Healthy K9.
